Beautiful Brows: Never underestimate what a beautifully shaped and filled in brow will do to your face! But only a professional should do them!! So walk away from the tweezers and make an appointment with a trusted brow specialist!! Waxing, threading, tweezing, tinting, cutting…all of these things need to be done by a pro!!

Forgo Facial Hair: Facial hair must be removed at all costs. I don’t know many people realize that the peach fuzz on their face is not sexy. Especially when it is dark. But it’s not. So get rid of it! I like using a facial razor but threading or waxing will work as well. Bleaching does not cut it. It has to be removed so get after it. Take responsibility for your facial hair!

Never Skimp on Skincare: Skincare is HUGE. Exfoliate, exfoliate, and exfoliate!!! Please and thank you!! Scrub off that dry dead skin and your make-up will look so much better when it’s on! Keep your skin hydrated with a moisturizer and by all means…invest in a good eye cream! Lots of times you think you are seeing lines or wrinkles around your eyes but it is actually dehydration! Get it together!

Luscious Lashes: Curl your eyelashes! It opens up your eyes and makes you look more awake and alert! But curl them BEFORE you put on your mascara! Otherwise you can easily have your lashes pulled out! No bueno.

Line Those Eyes: Line your eyes at the very base of your lashes. This is referred to as the “water line”. There are great waterproof liners. Whether gel or a pencil, they will stay all day. It is so important to line the eye because it actually makes your lashes look longer and opens up your eye!!

Flawless Foundation: For God’s sake, please use the right color of foundation! If you are so lucky that you don’t need much covering but want to just even out your tone, use a tinted moisturizer! The moisturizer can be very light, but gives just enough coverage! Remember to apply your makeup using natural lighting whenever possible! It makes a huge difference in the choices you end up making to complete your look for that day.

Hair Color: When it comes to your hair color…. I personally love hair that looks natural and enhances your skin tone as opposed to loud or harsh color. I think staying within 2-3 shades lighter or darker than your natural color is what will usually look the most flattering.

Skin Color: Keep color in your face by using a sunless tanning lotion or spray. You will be surprised at how much less makeup you need when you have nice color to your skin! I personally spray my tanner on almost every day! I also get spray tanned every week! But do not over do it!

Perfect Fit: Make sure your bra and underwear fit your body shape. Have a professional in the lingerie department measure your proportions and size you, they will tell you the truth! And please, panty lines are an absolute no-no!

Never Neglect your Nails: Keep your nails looking lovely at all times. Pretty, painted nails can become an accessory!
